FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed engine comprises cylinder-and-piston set, cooling system, feed system, starting system and lubrication system. Cylindrical shaft transmitting torque to transmission is furnished with three cylinders rigidly coupled therewith through 120 degrees. Said cylinders house floating pistons with heads and bodies. Cylinders with pistons and shaft are stopped by housing covers. Housing has intake pipe with intake opening, combustion chamber and discharge manifold. Cylinder shaft center has a bore communicated with engine lubing ducts and oil ducts with piston body cavities. Cylinders revolve with said shaft to get aligned in turns with intake opening, combustion chamber and discharge manifold. Piston is forced by pressure of oil fed from engine lubing ducts and expanding gases to displace in said cylinder. Intake pipe communicates with fuel chamber wherefrom fuel is forced into cylinders during operation of oil discharge device.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability.
