FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft landing control in emergency at failures of both onboard automatic radio compasses (ARC) and ground radio homing beacon (GRHB) to direct aircraft to landing start point (LSP). Proposed method consists in driving the aircraft to LSP with the help of radar irradiation warning station (RIW) and two sources of radio radiation (RIS) operated on separated frequencies covered by frequency range of RIW and mounted at GRHB and near homing beacons (NHM) to indicate runway lengthwise axis. Note here that RIW frequencies are preloaded into aircraft RIW bank while their spacing must make 500-1000 MHz. Depending upon relative position of aircraft and two ground RIW allow three versions of method implementation. Proposed landing processes allow driving the aircraft to LSP at failure of onboard radio communication means and automatic radio compasses and can be used for emergent landing of aircraft equipped with RIW.
EFFECT: higher flight safety.
