SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use as a technical facility for continuous monitoring of insulation resistance and electric strength of the circuit "submersible electric motor (PED) - three-strand power cable" with working voltage of 1-2.5 kV, used in devices of an electric centrifugal pump (ECPD), The device comprises a source of DC voltage 3, a current leakage meter 7, units of light 1 and sound alarm 4, a step-up transformer 11, a comparator of DC voltage source charge 5, a microcontroller 2, a source of reference voltage 6, a generator reset comparator 8, a generator of reference frequency 9 and a power amplifier 10, a capacitor 14, a resistive divider 13, a rectifying diode 12, a reference resistor 17, one of outlets of which is connected to a test terminal 16; a measurement shunt 15 with the possibility of connection with the bus 19 of the body and a braiding of a controlled cable, a clamp 18 for connection to strands of the controlled cable. Elements of the design are connected in a certain manner according to the figure 1.

EFFECT: development of a device having high reliability and efficiency, providing continuous monitoring of insulation resistance and electric strength of a PED circuit - a three-strand power cable.
