FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: electric connector socket comprises a body, a protective jacket with an inner groove, installed on the body, a contact group, a fusible switch, an elastic element. The elastic element and the fusible switch are located between the body and the protective jacket. The fusible insert is made as a fusible insert. The elastic element is fixed in compressed condition at one side with the inner groove of the protective jacket, and at the other side - by a press nut. The protective jacket is made from material with heat conductivity in the range of 100-160 ccal/m × hour°C. At the same time the protective jacket is made as solid from steel with wall thickness of at least 1 mm. The fusible switch in the form of a bushing is made from material of fusible alloy with melting temperature of 102°C-105°C, on the basis of such metals as bismuth, cadmium, tin, at the ratio of wt %, accordingly 50-55, 20-22, 25-28, and is pressed with an elastic element with specific pressure arriving from the force of the compressed elastic element at the area of the ring of the fusible switch in the range of 25-27 g/mm2.

EFFECT: protection of a fusible switch from possibility of radiation exposure of environment and limitation of manifestation of fusible switch material plasticity, which increases service life of an electric connector socket.
