METHOD OF POWER SUPPLY OF SPACECRAFT Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC H02J7/34

Abstract RU 2510116 C1

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: in the proposed method from a primary source of energy - a solar battery and a secondary source of energy - an accumulator battery, consisting in stabilisation of voltage on the load by means of a voltage stabiliser made in the form of a bridge inverter with an output transformer, from secondary windings of which they energise all loads with different voltage nominal values, when matching operation of the primary and secondary sources of energy, extreme regulation of solar battery capacity. At the same time the solar battery is divided into "n" sections with total output voltage of all sections equal to required output voltage of solar battery in general. Each section is stabilised via an individual voltage stabiliser, afterwards the stabilised AC voltage of all sections of the solar battery synchronised to each other is connected in series and supplied to the primary winding of the common output transformer.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of solar battery usage and reliability of spacecraft power supply system, making it possible to maintain stabilisation of AC and DC voltage nominal values required to supply to various loads of a spacecraft.
