FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to locomotive hardware to control over train speed. Proposed method comprises control over train speed and automatic control over service brake application and comparison of current train speed with preset threshold speed. The preset speed reached, control system is changed over to mode of keeping said speed. At faults in train schedule, train speeds at yellow and red signal lights are defined by physical and mathematical simulation with due allowance for track blocks profile, length and plan. System to implement described method comprises subsystems connected with CAN-interface of train automatic driving, service brake application automatic control and motion safety control, track and speed transducer units, receivers of locomotive automatic signalling and satellite navigation systems. Additionally, this system incorporates computer-aided workstation for train dispatcher. Stationary and locomotive transceivers are interconnected via radio communication channel. Locomotive transceiver signal I/O is connected to general-system CAN-interface.
