SUBSTANCE: automated teller machine allows temporary laying of paper media into a carriage, controlling the direction of movement of the carriage by turning the carriage using a wheel, and delivering the paper media to one of a plurality of dispensers by moving said carriage on conveyor lines. The offload line for paper media offloaded to the unit for storing collected media from a unit for transporting reject media, and the offload line for paper media offloaded to the unit for storing collected media from the carriage are situated in a single offloading space. This enables to collect, at the same place, paper media that were defined as substandard and to be rejected and paper media that were obtained by dispensers and were returned. Such a solution simplifies the design.
