Claimed sheet processing method comprises the stages of receiving a container containing a plurality of sheets, obtaining identification information from the container relative to the container. and receiving information on the sheets contained in the container, selecting a sheet processing device from a variety of sheet processing devices on the basis of information regarding the processing situations of the plurality of sheet processing devices and the information regarding the sheets contained in the container, transporting the sheets to the selected sheet processing device and processing the sheets in the selected sheet processing device, moreover, said information regarding processing situations includes the number of sheets received, and said information regarding sheets includes the number of sheets.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the efficiency of processing sheets of paper contained in a plurality of housings collected from an ATM, etc.
