FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: three harmonics with respective frequencies is used as a probing signal. Through combined correlation processing of signal pairs {r1, r0} and {r2, r0}, correlation signals S1 and S2 are determined, respectively, and a difference signal SΔ=S1-S2 and a sum signal SΣ=S1+S2 are generated. The output radar signal used is either the amplitude UΔ of the difference signal or the amplitude UΣ of the sum signal depending on selection of initial phases of the harmonics of the probing signal.

EFFECT: high efficiency of detecting nonlinear objects which include inertial elements - inductors and capacitors, on the background of signal flux from non-inertial nonlinear objects.
