PACKER FOR SELECTIVE CLOSURE OF PIPE STRING OR CASING STRING INNER CAVITY Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC E21B33/12 

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: packer for closure of pipe string or casing string inner cavity contains the upper and lower bearing sleeves with installed upper and lower self-sealing packings respectively, at that the above upper and lower self-sealing packings are installed with divergent portion towards each other, and with narrow parts the self-sealing packings are fixed in conical sleeves covering the bearing sleeves; between the upper and lower bearing sleeves with formation of the central pass there are top-down interconnected reducer bushing, cantering skid and valve body consisting of the upper and lower parts, at the upper bearing sleeve there is input tube, while at the lower bearing sleeve there's a cylindrical sleeve with openings in its walls and cantering tip installed from bellow; at that in the upper part of the valve body there's the central channel with installed moving rod spring loaded in regards to a thread bush installed in the lower part of the valve body, the upper part of moving rod is sealed in regards to the central channel; in the wall of the body valve upper part there are four elongated openings, and valve gate is connected from below to the moving rod, at that the valve has is placed in the lower part of the valve body with a saddle and in the wall of the valve body lower part over the saddle there are radial openings, at that moving rod with the gate can be replaced by a process plug.

EFFECT: simplifying process of packer seating and disrupting.
