FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. An instrument comprises a illuminant connected to a fibre-optic light guide with a light source, a telecamera, an objective lens, a computer and a monitor, a manual iris image displacement mechanism. The instrument is provided with a carrier and an eye support; the light source is placed one the carrier and presented in the form of a halogen lamp with an interferential deflector; the fibre-optic light guide is double-beam; the illuminant comprises frontal and radial ring elements each of which is connected with its beam of the fibre-optic light guide; the manual iris image displacement mechanism is presented in the form of a three-port tracer and a focuser. A lower arm of the pantograph is pivotally fastened around a vertical axis on the carrier, while and an upper arm comprises the focuser pivotally fastened around a horizontal axis, presented in the form of a guide and a reciprocating carriage mounted thereon. Manual control instruments of the manual iris image displacement mechanism are provided on the focuser. The eye carrier is presented in the form of a lodgement rigidly stand-mounted on the guide. The telecamera, the objective lens and the frontal element of the illuminant is rigidly mounted on the carriage, while the radial ring element of the illuminant is mounted on the lodgement.
EFFECT: using the given instrument enables providing a glare-free effect, enables higher contrast ratio, visual acuity and display depth of the iris.
