FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: carbon-containing solid waste incinerator includes waste loading device with auger feeder 14, combustion chamber 1, firing device 4, afterburning device 2 with plasmatron, airflow feed system, airflow swirler, purging and combustion product removing system, heat exchanger 10, where plasmatron includes charge initiation device, external electrode and central electrode. Purging and combustion product removal system features dust and ash concentrator 5, drum-and-scraper feeder 6, slag crusher 7, coarse 13 and fine 12 filters. Auger feeder features two auger units. Airflow swirler includes a number of pipeline sections with airflow directed at a tangent to combustion chamber wall. Metal reflector with curved surface is formed in the combustion chamber. Length of second electrode in plasmatron is shorter than the first electrode, charge initiation device includes magnetron, resonant cavity and microwave radiation output loop.
EFFECT: simplified incinerator design, increased environmental friendliness of the process, reduced power consumption.
