FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to method of self-initiating cooling of troposphere by its enrichment with, at least, one substance from the group of inorganic chlorides and bromides. Substances used for this purpose are characterized by, at least, one of the following properties: they are in gaseous state, they are in vapour state at temperature below 500°C, they are hygroscopic, and they are hydrolysable. In accordance with the claimed invention formation of substances used for this purpose is additionally characterized by, at least, one of the following stages: formation of the said substance by means of salty water electrolysis, formation of the said substance beyond the limits of combustion process, and formation of the said substance in free troposphere.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to solve the problem of climate warming by formation of cooling clouds.
