FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mine clearing. Proposed method consists in driving control action to system control member (2) displacing relative to vehicle bearing structure (1) which controls the chassis turn by living creature (3). Said creature (3) is mechanically coupled with said control member (2) to rest on bearing structure (1). Control living creature (3) is a rat and forced mechanical linkage (4) is coupled with control member (2). Proposed method uses self-propelled mine sweeper with bearing structure (1), power plant (9), power source (10), mover and control system with rotary turn control lever (2). Said sweeper includes the mine explosion initiator (8). Control member control lever is arranged horizontally and directed from the axis of its turn forward along chassis lengthwise axis to deflect to the tight or left. Lever moving end is located at chassis nose to engage with rat collar or breast retainer and thereunder, said rat being trained for olfactory mine detection.
EFFECT: mine field clearing by mine sweepers controlled by rats.
