The characteristic of the system of the cracks inaccessible for direct measurements, located in the massif of rocks, they determine by measurements of the planes bared by open mining works entering into this system of cracks before exposure. Measurements are conducted only for those planes, which are not the separation planes in conducting of explosive works or works of mining equipment. It is determined by a deposit on planes of iron oxides, other elements or remains of crack fillers.
