FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, to drilling and blasting operations (DBO) in rocks, and can be used in various industries using blasting operations in rock masses, in particular, in blasting preparation of a layered rock mass for excavation at open development of minerals. Method involves production of geologic information directly on exposing the ledge slope about elements of rocks laying, calculation of DBO parameters and well pattern designing, drilling of parallel rows of wells, charging them with an explosive with subsequent plugging, installation of an explosive network, short-delay blasting and development of blasted rocks. Herewith depending on spatial position of the bedding in the mass the wells are drilled perpendicular or parallel to the plane of the bedding.
EFFECT: technical result of the proposed technical solution is increased efficiency with a rational degree of crushing a rock mass before excavation due to formation of a stress wave front along the rocks bedding.
