SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of printing and can be used for insertion of flat objects in folded printed products. The device for insertion of flat objects comprises a conveyor, a control device and a plurality of support elements. The conveyor is equipped with grips. The grips are mounted with the ability to move along a closed path. The control device controls the opening and closing of the grips. The support elements are mounted with the ability of hinged rotation relative to the grips.
EFFECT: opportunity to use standard conveyors with grips and the ability to adapt to different product formats is provided.
