FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to fodder production. The method for treatment of poultry droppings to be used as animal fodder includes thermal disinfection of poultry droppings at 95-100°C for at least 30 minutes and their mixing with dairy whey prior to and/or during and/or after such thermal disinfection. Prior to and/or during and/or after such thermal disinfection, poultry droppings and/or a mixture of poultry droppings and dairy whey is/are mixed with grains of cereal crops, mainly - barley and wheat, the dry substance weight ratio of grains to droppings being no more than 1.5:1.0. The produced mixture is maintained at a temperature of 55-100°C for at least 30 min.
EFFECT: invention implementation ensures enhancement of the organoleptic and nutritional properties of a mixture of poultry droppings and dairy whey.
