FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proposed method comprises moulding of sodium silicate mix and removal of pattern composition. Sodium silicate mix contains refractory filler, liquid glass and liquid hardener. Pattern melting is performed at 180°C while residues of wax-like composition are removed at 400-500°C in unoxidised atmosphere of resistance furnace.
EFFECT: higher hardness of the mould, reduced burning-in owing to formation of protective carbon oxide.
