SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric engineering, in particular, to power source devices for illumination equipment. According to the invention embodiment in the power source device a reference signal Vref1 which is changed from the value corresponding to the maximum current in complete lighting state to the respective minimum current value for the case of the inmost dimming value and a reference signal Vref2 which is changed from the value corresponding to load voltage maximum current in complete lighting state to the respective minimum current value for the case of the inmost dimming value are prepared in compliance with the dimming value degree of the dimming signal. In the range of small dimming value close to the complete lighting state the reference signal Vref1 is selected to regulate direct current feed to light-emitting diodes in current regulation mode. In the range of large dimming values the reference signal Vref2 is selected to regulate direct-current voltage to diodes in voltage regulation mode.

EFFECT: increasing stability of control for dimming and preventing blinking.
