SUBSTANCE: LCD-backlight generator includes an inverter to convert the input voltage to the required output voltage and to supply the output voltage on at least one chain of LEDs, the repeater is connected to the negative end of the chain of LEDs and the module of the reference voltage is connected to the reference voltage and the repeater. The repeater is designed to detect the voltage at the negative end of the chain of LEDs and to generate the repeater voltage according to the voltage at the negative end. The repeater voltage interacts with the module of the reference voltage. The reference voltage module adjusts the output voltage according to the repeater voltage generated by the repeater. The output voltage is regulated in accordance with the voltage drop of the chain of LEDs. A liquid crystal device including an LCD-backlight generator is also disclosed.
