FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for mechanisation of loading operations in agricultural production, namely for loading tuberous roots from piles. The feeding mechanism comprises a horizontal shaft (3) carrying cams (4) with the working edge, mounted in sections. The working edges of the cams in each section are located in parallel to each other. The horizontal shaft (3) is mounted with offset in a chain conveyor (2) with transverse planks relative to the rotation axis of the driven shaft (6) of the chain conveyor (2) and is connected to the driven shaft (6) through the pinion drive (5). The cams (4) are mounted so as to pass between the planks of the chain conveyor (2).
EFFECT: invention provides a uniform capture of tuberous roots and their feeding to the unloading conveyor, reduction of power consumption when transportation of tuberous roots from the working element to the unloading conveyor.
