FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of quakeproof construction and may be used in construction of carcass buildings with separate foundations. The system of seismic protection of carcass buildings is characterised by availability of sliding elements. It comprises pillars with wider top part installed in a basement floor, sliding elements (steel and fluoroplastic plates) and limiters of movements in the form of reinforcement rods or steel ropes that rest with one end against the crossbars via steel ropes, and by the other one - against the foundation. A steel plate of stainless steel is installed onto support parts of crossbars, and the steel plate and the plate from fluoroplastic are installed onto the wider part of the pillar.
EFFECT: reduction of seismic loads at an above-foundation part of a building, higher reliability of operation of a system of seismic insulation with vertical components of seismic impact.
