FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: quakeproof building includes spatially stiff floors, carcass pillarts rested against a lower reinforced concrete base, which has no rigid connections with above bearing structures and rests on a sliding gasket, foundations are made of monolithic concrete in the form of a slab or crossing belts. For seismic protection of the building dissipation of earthquake energy is used, built on principles of dry friction damping. Coefficient of friction of gasket material between the foundation and bearing elements of the building is taken from the share of the weight characteristic applied on each support, and bearing pillars of the building in the level of coupling with the foundation have additional elastic elements of supports, which participate in work to achieve movements by bearing pillars of the specified value and assist to return of bearing pillars into the initial position. Stiffness of elastic supports is assigned from the residual share, which is perceived by dampers of dry friction by weight characteristic of the building for each support element of pillars, and elastic elements are made of cylindrical or plate springs, or their combination; to ensure conditions of building resistance from total wind load, intensity of seismic load and limit value of building movement under seismic impact of the pillar rest against foundations via sliding gaskets and are united by a rigid horizontal platform from crossing beams, on foundation structures there are support tables with embedded anchors and plates, and in the space between support tables and cross beams there are elastic elements inserted.
EFFECT: increased earthquake stability of a building, making it possible to simplify design of foundations, and at the same time to expand area of seismic protection use, improving technical and operational characteristics of a building with reduced horizontal seismic load by 2-3 points in a wide spectrum of frequencies.
