SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to telecommunication networks. The method comprises steps of receiving a request from a packet switched telecommunication network to set up a call to a mobile terminal of a channel switched telecommunication network, and sending to a location register an instruction request message containing one or more parameters for permitting call set up to the mobile terminal. After receiving one or more parameters from the location register, the one or more parameters are used to set up a call to the mobile terminal. Furthermore, the one or more parameters are sent to the packet switched telecommunication network. Said parameters are associated with the location of the mobile terminal. Therefore, objects processing call termination for the call provided to access the channel switched telecommunication network (e.g. GSM), receive location information associated with the connected party. That information is received by a transparent method in SIP signalling.

EFFECT: improved delivery of information in an IMS network associated with the location of the called party when the called part receives a call in a GSM terminal.
