FIELD: telephone communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to telephone communication, in particular to methods of notifying subscribers of mobile radio networks MRN on an incoming call, and can be used in UMTS and LTE networks. Disclosed is a method of notifying a subscriber of an incoming call, designed to improve the functional characteristics of the "Who Calls" service in conditions of transitioning IN networks to the IMS architecture and increasing VoLTE traffic in the MRN. Method includes checking the possibility of establishing a voice incoming call by IMS network hardware and when such possibility is established, sends an incoming call message to a software-hardware node, which performs functions of IMS applications server network, which by caller identifier of said message generates additional data on it and edits SIP message on incoming call in accordance with said data.
EFFECT: technical result is improved functional characteristics of "Who is calling" service in transition conditions of IN networks to IMS architecture.
