FIELD: fire-prevention facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical air-foam fire extinguisher which comprises a housing with a lid, filled with the aqueous alkaline solution, the polyethylene container with an acid mixture, located inside the housing, and a lock and release device mounted on the lid, at that the housing is made of steel and comprises 9 litres of water-alkali solution in the form of the mixture of sodium bicarbonate NaHCO3 and licorice extract, and the polyethylene container is filled with the acid mixture in the form of sulfuric acid H2SO4 and iron sulfide FeSO4, increasing the volume and strength of the foam produced, at that the polyethylene container is rigidly connected to the valve seat fixed to the lower part of the cup rigidly connected to the lid of the steel housing, the upper part of which is attached to the handle for work in the mode of operation of the fire extinguisher, and in the upper part of the housing an outlet pipe is placed, on which the foam generator is fixed, at that the cup is mounted inside the housing axially to it and the polyethylene container, and the valve is connected to the rod placed axially in the cup and spring-loaded with the spring, at that in the lower part of the cup, over the valve, at least three openings are made, providing the connection of the alkaline and acid parts of the fire extinguisher, and the lock and release device is mounted on the lid of the fire extinguisher housing.
EFFECT: improvement of protective effectiveness of technological equipment against fires.
