FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises the measurement of rpm of every rotor and the pickup of vibration of every rotor depending upon rotor rpm. Note here that, additionally, rotor rpm is used to define design rpm to take off vibration magnitude at said rpm. This magnitude is compared with isolated vibration magnitudes of every rpm and with preset permissible engine vibration at said rpm. The results of comparison are used to define gas turbine engine serviceability.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and reliability of diagnostics.
