FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a bag for packaging of biological material, such as animal semen. Object of the invention is to provide a proper hanging of empty bag on the fingers of the supporting structure and to prevent its displacement from the proper position on the fingers, as well as elimination of damage of the said bag. The bag for packaging of biological material is formed by two plastic walls joined to form a pocket for receiving the said material and which comprises a filling channel communicating with the said pocket for ensuring its filling. The bag additionally comprises at least one pair of openings located on both sides of the said channel and provided for hanging the bag on two fingers passing through these openings, which are the part of the supporting structure. At least one of these openings has an oblong shape and comprises a part forming a rigidity point. The said oblong opening extends transversely to the filling channel, at that both openings are formed in the bag so that the shorter pitch between the said openings is equal to the relative spacing between the said two fingers of the supporting structure for hanging on which the said bag is provided.

EFFECT: providing of proper hanging of the empty bag on the fingers of the supporting structure and prevention of its displacement from the proper position on the fingers, as well as elimination of damage of the said bag.
