FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: described is a method of packing articles, liquid or loose material into bags of film, which move through filling station in continuous web of bags, wherein holes of bags are kept open for receiving items, after which bags are closed and separated from web. In order to increase the rate of filling and reducing the cost of bags, the web of bags is equipped with a central supporting area extending longitudinally along the web of bags and connecting bags which are located nearby, across the web. Central supporting area moves on the supporting rail along the conveyor path through the stowing station and is formed as a completely or partially closed channel. Peripheral areas of bags at the furthest from the middle opposite edges at two adjacent bags are brought into the guiding connection with the guiding facilities made with possibility of squeezing and directing the edge areas on opposite edges of the hole of the bag along the conveyor movement path through the stowing station.

EFFECT: as a result of said movement, guiding means cause separation of bag hole edges for subsequent opening of bags in stowing station and then, after filling bags, edges of hole of bag are again connected for its closing.
