FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to an aircraft fuel system. The fuel system contains a tank for liquid fuel, an engine and a cyclone separator with an inlet having a liquid connection to the fuel tank, the first outlet having a liquid connection to the engine fuel-feed system and the second outlet. The cyclone separator is performed with a possibility to output a relatively more dense material from the first outlet and relatively less dense material from the second outlet. The fuel system can be used to remove water or ice from the fuel tank by separation using the cyclone separator of the liquid fuel in the tank into water-enriched fuel and purified fuel. Water-enriched fuel is fed to the engine where water is burnt together with fuel.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of water removal from fuel.
