SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a tin can for soft drinks. The lid has a lid panel with a diameter less than 47 mm, an openable one-piece panel formed by the incision line in the lid panel, and the one-piece tongue attached to the lid with a possibility of impact on the openable panel so as to cause its rotation out of the plane of the lid panel to create a hole of generally oblate shape with a minor axis passing through the tongue. At that the ratio of the hole size on its major axis to the hole size on its minor axis is more than 1.7, the hole area is more than 350 mm², and the hole is generally symmetrical relative to its minor axis.

EFFECT: invention provides an optimal flow of beverage from the can.
