FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry and dosimetry of radiation. For production of a transparent tissue-equivalent detector of radiation based on Li2B4O7 they perform the following stages: a) components of initial reagent of the detector are mixed, including deionised water, boric acid H3BO3, admixture Mn and binding material silicon dioxide SiO2; b) mixture temperature is increased to 75-85°C, lithium carbonate Li2CO3 is added, and the secondary admixture Be2+, which does not reduce transparency of the detector in the range of wave lengths 320-750 nm; c) ageing, drying and preliminary annealing is made on the produced initial reagent; d) initial reagent is ground, polished and sifted; e) moulded under pressure; f) the moulded bodies of the detector are sintered.
EFFECT: produced detector has suppressed low-temperature maximum and is transparent both for stimulating light and outlet luminescence.
