SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, particularly, to braking systems of railway vehicles. Braking controller contains variable load valve, step-up changeover solenoid valve and braking pressure feed assembly. Outlet pressure of variable load valve is controlled by means of step-up changeover solenoid valve. During normal braking output pressure of variable load valve is raised by means of step-up changeover solenoid valve, adjusted to target pressure by means of brake application valve and is supplied to braking cylinder via relay valve. During emergency braking of brake step-up changeover solenoid valve is switched off, and output pressure is supplied to braking cylinder via brake application valve and relay valve. In case of possible increase of braking path, step-up changeover solenoid valve is made capable to be switched off to increase braking force.

EFFECT: decrease in dimensions and simplification braking controller configuration.
