SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines. ICE effective power controller comprises detector of requests for braking designed to reveal is braking request is executed and controller. Controller is programmed to limit ICE effective power when braking request job is executed and to inhibit the limitation of said power during the preset time interval of limitation disabling when braking request job terminates. Besides, it is designed to decreased limitation inhibit time when preset definite condition is satisfied. Invention covers also the ICE effective power control process.

EFFECT: carrier braking by brake pedal depression in case accelerator pedal fails.
