SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of remote control of the locomotive braking process and can be used when performing shunting operations and auxiliary braking as part of a train. The auxiliary brake valve of the locomotive contains an auxiliary brake valve controller installed in the locomotive control panel, connected to the control unit, to which at least one pressure sensor is also connected, an electric pneumatic distributor for switching to backup pneumatic control and solenoid braking and release valves, a reducer through which the supply line is connected to the solenoid brake valve, a compressed air pneumatic valve having a control pressure cavity associated with at least one pressure sensor and an electric pneumatic valve for switching to a backup pneumatic control, and a cavity for connecting the brake cylinders to the supply line and the atmosphere. In addition, the auxiliary brake valve of the locomotive is equipped with an indicator, a brake control mode switch from step to smooth and a brake control switch from remote to standby, connected to a control unit, which is also connected to the driver's crane controller and an electro-pneumatic hitchhiking valve.

EFFECT: provision of automatic activation of the auxiliary brake during auto-stop braking and emergency braking by the driver's crane, regardless of the position of the auxiliary brake valve controller; the ability to control the auxiliary brake from the controller both in the remote control mode and in the backup control mode; the possibility of setting the auxiliary brake valve by the controller of any pressure in the brake cylinders.
