SUBSTANCE: invention relates to said crossbar and to method of its manufacture. Proposed crossbar consists of one-piece steel part with closed cross-section. It makes integral pair of straight end parts and pair of arched connection parts. Every said part is arranged between mid part and appropriate end part. It features concavity directed opposite the appropriate mid part. Mid part is flattened to shape mid cross-section that ensures the required characteristics of inertia.
EFFECT: high mechanical strength at mid cross-section of bend centre.
