SUBSTANCE: toothbrush contains the first or main component having an external surface, a gripping area and an area contacting the oral cavity, and the second component covering at least a section of the main component within the gripping area. The first component is non-transparent while the second component is at least partially transparent. At least one oval-shaped projection projects across the second component so that the projection surface is positioned flush with the main component external surface. The components in combination with the whole are, on the whole, chemically compatible and function so that to provide for areas with varied visibility of elements and, additionally, varied level of odorous substances release.

EFFECT: production of toothbrushes containing components with translucent and structural characteristics ensuring improved visual and other organoleptic effects.
