FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Proposed mechanism comprises case, set of gears in said case, one-way clutch and adapter part. Set of gears comprises worm gear and worm shaft. Said worm gear engages with the brake camshaft. One-way clutch has input and output parts. Output part engages with worm shaft. Adapter part is arranged in the case and incorporates a control element. Adapter part revolves to shift the worm shaft axially. In compliance with second version, this mechanism comprises means to transmit braking force to camshaft and means arranged in the case and incorporating control element. Said means to transmit braking force comprises gap adjustment mechanism and one-way clutch. In compliance with third version, this mechanism comprises worm gear and worm shaft arranged in the case. Adapter part acts in the brake disengagement direction. Axial ledge of one of the components displaces in curvilinear skew-shape surface at the other component. In compliance with fourth version, this mechanism comprises one-way clutch uncoupling bar arranged between adapter part and said clutch. Vehicle brake has brake drive with push rod and said gap adjustment mechanism and camshaft. Said camshaft has first end nearby the brake and second end distant therefrom. Vehicle is equipped with axle furnished with said brake. Invention relates to the brake of vehicle equipped with abode described mechanism.

EFFECT: higher precision of gap adjustment.
