FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to machine building. proposed mechanism comprises body, set of gears, adjustment mechanism and adapter part. Said body is connected with brake drive. Set of gears is arranged in the case and comprise worm gear and worm shaft. Adjustment mechanism has input and output parts. Input part is arranged concentrically around worm shaft. Output part engages with worm shaft. Additionally, adjustment mechanism comprises the clutch with ball retainers arranged between said input and output parts. Clutch with ball retainers operates without displacement between input and output parts in axial direction. Adapter part is arranged in the case and incorporates a control element. In compliance with second version, this mechanism comprises means to transmit braking force to camshaft and means arranged in the case and incorporating control element. Said means to transmit braking force comprises gap adjustment mechanism and one-way clutch. Vehicle brake comprises brake drive with pusher, brake camshaft and said automatic mechanism. Said camshaft has first end nearby the brake and second end distant therefrom. The brake is actuated by camshaft rotation about lengthwise axis. Adjustment mechanism is arranged between pusher and camshaft. Vehicle is equipped with axle furnished with said brake. Invention relates to the brake of vehicle equipped with above described mechanism.

EFFECT: higher precision of gap adjustment.
