FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: thermal loader comprises a platform, a friction element installed on it, a drive to rotate a friction element, a support platform from heat conductive material installed as incapable of rotation relative to the friction element. The friction element is made in the form of a twisted cylindrical spring, with one end connected to the rotation drive, the support platform is made in the form of a pipe for installation in the hole of the sample. The external diameter of the spring exceeds the inner diameter of the pipe, and in the pipe there are slots in accordance with the zones of heating.
EFFECT: increased volume of information by provision of tests under uneven supply of thermal load to different parts of the sample volume via holes.
