FIELD: testing technology.
SUBSTANCE: unit comprises two motors of different power with parallel shafts and oppositely directed torques, two levers which one ends are connected to the shaft of the respective motor, the grippers for the sample, one of which is mounted on the end of the first lever, and the load generator pivotally connected to the end of the second lever and connected to the second gripper. The load generator is made in the form of a hydraulic cylinder filled with a working medium, with a rod which one end is connected to the second gripper, the set of discs of different diameters located on the rod in the hydraulic cylinder with the ability to cooperate with the working medium, and clamps for connection of the discs with the rod.
EFFECT: increase of informational content of the studies of the effect of cyclic alternating-sign axial and bending loads by providing tests with step changes in the level of axial loads.
