SUBSTANCE: nuclear reactor 10 with liquid-metal coolant comprises a reactor housing 22, a protective cover 23, a channel U for air flow and a charging unit 30. In the reactor housing there is an active zone 11 and the refrigerant L for the active zone of the reactor 11. The outer surface of the housing is surrounded by the protective shell 23. The channel U for air flow provides heat removal using the air stream flowing around the protective shell 23, and the charging unit 30 is designed to inject the filler into the gap D between the reactor housing 22 and the protective shell 23.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of heat removal from the reactor housing due to increasing the temperature of the outer wall of the protective shell.
