FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to junction of a high-voltage electric cable with paper insulation impregnated with insulating fluid and a high-voltage electric cable with plastic insulation. At the end of the high-voltage electric cable with paper insulation there is an end bell equipped with sealed wire holder (12). The junction point of two cables is covered with an electric shielding component and a body (18) of the holder. The holder body (18) is made as an elongated integral part of elastic insulating material with an end-to-end channel to receive two high-voltage cables (3, 4). At its two axial ends for receipt of cables (3, 4) the holder body (18) is equipped with two adjusting dividing boxes (21, 22). Outer diameters of the cables in the area of contact with the body holder (18) differ at least per 10 mm while inner diameters of the end-to-end channel of the body holder (18) at its two axial ends for receipt of cables (3, 4) are also different depending on the different outer diameters of theses cables.
EFFECT: improving fabricability of the device, reliability of its operation in conditions of temperature fluctuations.
