SUBSTANCE: junction box has current-carrying conductor connector, insulator, two contact rings, two ground contact springs, cable screen wire connection assembly made in the form of two compressible copper sleeves, transverse sealing tube, and thermosetting tube. Insulator is monoblock structure incorporating electric-field strength leveling assembly in the form of two cones and central high-voltage electrode which enables smoothing inrush electric field intensity in vicinity of cable joints.
