FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: two-cycle centrifugal compressor comprises a casing; a stator of the first and second sections, an intersection baffle with labyrinth sealing, a rotor with runners and dummy piston with the latter being a stepped one, are set inside the casing. The intersection cavity of the dummy piston is connected to the discharge chamber of the second section in the two-cycle compressor via a channel in the intersection baffle and inlet ports in the bush of the stepped labyrinth sealing; the ports in the bush of the stepped labyrinth sealing are made tangentially or at an angle to the inner ring surface of the sealing and are directed to the side opposite to the direction of the swirling flow rotation; ribs are set on the inner end face walls of the bush next to the inlet sealing ports, crescent recesses and ridges are provided on the inner surface of the sealing's bush.
EFFECT: improved compensation efficiency for axial thrust on rotor, reduced leakages of compressed gas from the second compressor section to the first one in the course of operation, improved dynamic characteristics of rotor.
