SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an input device which obtains operation input data from the hand of a user, an information processing device and a method of obtaining input values used in said device. A GUI screen image is a standard screen image and renders a first combined GUI region which is a combination of the GUI of a crossed directional switch and the GUI of a joystick, and a second combined GUI region which is a combination of the GUI of buttons of four types of operations and the GUI of a joystick, respectively, in the bottom left and bottom right part of the screen image. The combined GUI to be used is determined depending on the region in the first combined GUI region or the second combined GUI region touched by the user for the first time, and the screen image is switched, and if a finger is separated from the touch panel, the screen image is switched back.
EFFECT: design of a combined GUI used in compact data input means.
