FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for thermal activation of rubber and metal engagement system of antiskid nails which are embedded into running surface of ready vulcanised tire. Technical result is achieved by device for thermal activation of rubber and metal engagement system of antiskid nails which are embedded into tread of ready vulcanised pneumatic auto tire. Herewith, heating station is provided in the device which station contains pusher furnace filled with saturated vapour. The furnace contains shut-off inlet and shut-off outlet. Note also that there are belt conveyors at entrance and at exit which are intended for charging the pusher furnace with tires and for carrying off processed tires, respectively. The conveyors are made capable to be set in such position where they outstand through open inlet and respectively outlet in the pusher furnace.
EFFECT: elimination of tire thermal overloading during activation, removal of restrictions by size of processed tires and activation process automatisation.
