FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: method consists in arrangement of a semi-cylindrical target and determination of a differential law of fragment distribution in dispersion directions in each echelon of ammunition fragmentation field based on a subsequent fixation of combinations of coordinates of actuated matrix elements of sensitive elements of photoreceiver lines in an image plane relative to the first line of matrix of sensitive elements of the line of photoreceivers located along X axis. Mass of fragments is determined. Law of distribution of fragments by mass is determined in each echelon of a fragmentation field of ammunitions based on subsequent fixation of a combination of actuation coordinates of matrix elements of sensitive elements of photoreceivers in space. Number of echelons of an ammunition fragmentation field is determined based on determination of actuation sequences of the first line of matrix elements of sensitive elements of the photoreceiver line located along X axis. After that, dynamics of variation of fragment distribution as to direction and mass is determined in each echelon of the ammunition fragmentation field based on fixation of combinations of actuated matrix elements of sensitive elements of the photoreceiver line in space relative to each line of matrix elements of sensitive elements of photoreceivers located along Z axis. The device includes a blasting chamber, an initiation device and ammunition, microPC, a radar speed metre and a semi-cylindrical target.
