The specified radar altimeter with a frequency-modulated sounding signal includes a receiving antenna, a mixer, an amplifier of difference frequency with automatic adjustment of amplification, a frequency discriminator, a digital control unit of speed of a transmitter frequency tuning, a modulator, a frequency-modulated signal transmitter and a transmitting antenna, a clock-pulse oscillator and an altitude monitoring, control and calculation unit, which are connected to each other in a certain way.
EFFECT: simplifying device design and improving its reliability and interference immunity.
